Those pg with #2 re: first appt what did you do with DC?
We have not told anyone about this pregnancy yet. Plan to tell our parents/siblings that weekend after first appointment. But now this is a problem because what do we do with our DC (who is over 2)?
Appt is during the week at 530.
DC is usually picked up from daycare by 4
Our parents are working but if we ask them to watch dc they will think something is up. Not sure what to do.

Brought her along. DH chased her around part of the time and we brought along the iphone for her to play with during the sono.

We brought her with us. I bribed her with snacks and toys, and she was relatively well-behaved (for a 16 month-old lol).

I made up an excuse for my parents to watch mine. I think I told my mom I was going for a regular annual doctor's appointment and that I would prefer not to bring my DD. She didn't think anything of it and asked no questions.

I brought DS with me, it's a pain but didn't have a choice. He'll be going to a lot of appts with me

I have taken my DD with me to every appt., we told her early on I was pregnant.

I went alone only for convenience purposes. The exam room skeeves me out (big germaphobe here) and I didn't want DD trying to get down, running around, touching everything she could get her hands on. It was a super boring apt anyway and I knew to expect this. My OB has really really boring 1st apts.

i had dh skip first appt.....
he brought ds to the level 2 which was not an internal.
