Car seat inspection? tip?
DH is going to Hassell Auto Body to have the car seats inspected. Do you tip the person who does it?

I *believe* the man who does it is the/or one of the owner/owners there (although I could be wrong). He was SUPER nice and did a great job. It was so quick I couldn't believe it, it would have taken DH and I hours. I tried to tip him but he wouldn't have it. Again, he was such a nice guy and it's such a great service that he provides!

Did you install it then they just checked and corrected it if you did it wrong or do they install it?

I was actually switching from the infant seat to the covertable. I went there with DD in the seat so he took the infant seat out and installed the convertable. It took maybe 10 mins. I had looked at the instructions to the convertable and was clueless as to where to even start. I was too afraid to take out my infant seat and not be able to get the convertable in right then I'd have to way to take DD anywhere.

We have been there several times. You could do either honestly.
If you did it incorrectly, they will tell you what you did wrong and show you the correct way.
If you bring the seat there and have them install it for the first time, they will still show you how to do it.
I had a girl show me how. I don't have the tether straps in my truck, so I have to secure it with the seat belt. She literally got on the seat, jiggled it around and pulled the seat belt super tight, so that there was no slack.
They are great there!
(they wouldn't accept a tip then either)
