Question about humidifer...water all over the floor.

So I purchased a humidifier for DS room. I set it up and when I go in the morning theres a layer of water all over the floor. The unit is not leaking but it appears that the mist it dispenses settles on the floor and create a thin layer of water. Is this normal?

It was for us, until I turned down how much mist came out, put it on with a fan also and laid a towel on the floor just incase it happened again.

I'm guessing you mean humidifier. When we first got one for our master we used it on high and woke up to a rainforest! The walls and ceiling were dripping. We never had an issue on low though.
