I know all the Disney hotels are heated. I've personally never swam in a heated pool in the winter.

How are the heated pools in December?

Here is my theory with heated pools.
I have a heated pool at home.
I thought it would be the best thing ever when we got that heater. We would be swimming until October.

But the issue is- when the air is chilly- like today for example- you don't feel like going in that pool- no matter how warm the water is.

So it would depend what the air temp is in Florida in Dec. If it's anything under 70 ish- I don't see you wanting to put your suit on and get in, kwim?

That totally makes sense. It will probably be 60's/70's weather when we go, not pool weather. I will pack 1 swim suit each just in case but I doubt we will be spending much time at the pools.

We've gone to FL in Dec many times and always went in the water. Ths variation in temp between there and home may have been a contributing factor but it always felt warm enough even if the temps were in the low 70's. Last time we went to FL in Dec there were two days that were way to cold but the rest of the trip we were good.
