Re: So paranoid

Makes total sense. I dont know how to not be nervous, I was nervous as well. But I tried to relax and just remain positive. Good luck with everything!!!!! Chat Icon

I am completely struggling with this too! It's my first pregnancy and I am a complete wreck. I feel tired, hungry and have some boob soreness but other than that I feel fine and it scares me! I feel like I should "feel" more pregnant than I do! I can't wait until the first trimester is over! Any advice thesel adies have would be GREATLY appreciated! lol

ETA: obviously, I have no advice, but I just wanted you to know you're not alone!

So paranoid

My friend lost her first at 32 weeks pregnant and had her DS 4 months ago. She said she could not enjoy the pregnancy at all because of how much she worried and wondered what was going to happen. But now that her son is here and healthy, she is so relieved. Still not a day goes by that she doesn't worry and she's not sure she could go through the anxiety of another pregnancy. From what she's said, the best thing you can do is to take it one day at a time and just keep focused on the parts of your life that make you happy as you get there.

I'm so sorry about your loss of your daughter and wish you an easy, healthy, and calm pregnancy.

I have never been in your position, but all I can say is that worrying won't help anything. Just try to stay as calm as possible between drs appts. We all have our anxieties for various reasons, but try to enjoy your pregnancy as much as possible. I think you'll be holding your baby before you know it!

Crashing just to give Chat Icon

I know how hard it is to be pregnant again after such a significant loss. I was 17 1/2 with my first loss and it took the excitement out of my pregnancies that came after it. Unfortunately, I don't have much advice since I have not yet been successful... but just keep focusing on the pregnancy that DID go well. That shows your body is capable of doing it!!!!!!

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon just keep positive.... remember you have your child at home who already made it! we had 2 losses before ds, they weren't as far along, but still made us nervous it would happen again, after ds I feel like after the first trimester I sailed through the rest of it and don't have the same eggshell feeling
