Day 1 of Ivf cycle and I already feel like i cannot do this!
I started bcp last night. I have always reacted bad to them with severe nausea. I know it is silly but I am already emotional and having to go to work like this with no one there understanding stink. I just feel like I am not going to be strong enough to get thru this!

and to the OP .. it does get more manageable as you go along.. It sounds cliche, but just take it day by day.. Pretty soon you will be too scared of worrying if it worked or not to worry about the process itself.

Hang in there. Things seem very overwhelming at first, but it becomes routine. And thinking about the possible end result is what keeps us going. Good luck with everything

My mom always says one day at a time....I hate it but it's true. I like to think of it as - everyday is just that.....one day that you never have to repeat. If it's the first day of the cycle, then tomorrow the first day will be gone and it will be day two. Like a countdown. You can do this!

Hang in there - you can and will do it! Honestly, I feel like everything happens so fast you don't have much time to process it. Once you start stimming the days fly by.

i just wanted to add that i literally have a countdown going. my doctors office gave me a calendar with BCPs schedule on it along with when to start what injections, potential HCG, ER and ET and every night after we inject i cross off the day. It really helps to see what has been accomplished already and what we have left to go. i swear to you the days FLY by. please FM if you ever need to talk, we are all here for you!

...it REALLY DOES go by fast...looking back I have NO IDEA where those 5 years even went...
soon you'll be blessed with a baby and this will all be a distant memory (ok, maybe not) but it will seem like it flew by...
Anything worth having is worth fighting for :)
