1st AF after D & C BTDT come on in

I am 32 days past my D & C and was not expecting AF for another two weeks. I have long cycles to begin with so I'm used to the waiting game.
My HCG level is back to zero
Yesterday morning I woke up with some salmon colored spotting. DH and I had the night before so I thought maybe my cervix was irritated. The spotting continued all day mixed in with EWCM. I have been having EWCM for a week with scant amounts the week before that. Then last night the spotting stopped.

This morning no spotting but I put on a pantyliner just in case. I went out this morning to my acupunture appointment and felt something go on down there. Sure enough it looked like AF had shown up so I was glad to be moving on to the next cycle. Well the bleeding was short lived and now I'm back to nothing and very . I already called my RE and left a message that CD1 had begun and now I'm not sure what to think.

It is unusual to spot before my period so I don't know what to think. And no cramping what so ever except for what felt like ovulation pain on Friday and Saturday. I've heard of ovulation spotting but I have never ever had it! What is this??? AF...spotting....Ovulation spotting?
