BTDT Moms, did you gain more weight with your 2nd child compared to your 1st?

For my first pregnancy, I gained about 25 pounds. If I remember correctly, I gained the last 15 in the final trimester.

Right now I'm 30 weeks and up 15 pounds already. I'm pretty sure I will gain more with the second pregnancy compared to my first. I feel much bigger this time, probably because I'm already stretched out.

How much did you gain with your 2nd compared to your 1st?

I gained 30 each pregnancy...one with twins and one singleton

Gained 32 with #1, right now at almost 18 weeks Im only up 4 lbs..
Think its because Ive had no appetite with this baby and no real desire for food. VERY different from #1

i gained between 25 and 30 with all 3 pregnancies. however, when i had my 3rd(#2 and #3 are 13 months apart) i gained 27 lbs. but i has already up 8 lbs from pre pregnancy weight from #2. So technically i still up 35 which was definitly more.

My dr told me that you usually do gain more and the babies tend to be bigger because your body is already knows how to stretch to make room for the baby, so you will gain more.

i had to see a nutritionist and they said since it was #3 that they expected me to gain 5-10 lbs more than the recommended.

I gained the same exact weight for both of my pregnancies even though I looked much bigger with my second. Weird.

14 with the first, 10 with the second.

Yes, I only gained 13lbs with DD and 30+ with DS.

But I also had GD with DD and not with DS so I wasn't as careful with what I ate the 2nd time around

With DS#1 I gained an insane amount of weight with DS#2 I only gained about 25lbs. Way less than with the first. About 40lbs less.

I gained about 40lbs with #1 and only 12 with DD#2.

50 with my first, 47 with my second.

#1 I gained 12.5lbs
#2 I ended up losing 1lb in total

i definitely gained much less the 2nd time around. Running after my toddler and having morning sickness until 17.5 weeks were to blame.

with #1 I gained almost 50lbs

I'm almost 35 weeks with #2 and I'm only up about 7-10lbs

20 pounds with both. I lost 25 after Abby - I nursed. I started off a little heavier with Jeremy, but I still only gained 20 and I am 3 pounds away from pp weight with him.

I gained 30 pounds with DS. I am 18 weeks and I have lost weight this pregnancy, I am down 4 lbs. I started higher though.

lost three pounds from last week though at todays appointment

I gained ~30-35lbs. It was about the same, maybe slightly less with #2.

I gained 42 lbs. w/ DD & 28 w/ DS (although I started out 20lbs heavier).

I gained so much less with my second pregnancy. Like 35lbs less! Thank god!

I felt bigger at first but in the end I gained less. 22lbs 1st time, 20lbs 2nd time.

I gained 16 lbs with DD.
I haven't gained any weight yet with this pregnancy- 17.5 weeks. We will see. I will probably gain about the same if not less than DD.

Last time I didn't weigh myself so I only knew my weight gain from each doctor's appt. This time I weigh almost daily so I expect to be more on top of my weight gain.
