Hudson Valley in November.
Any recommendations for an overnight? We are looking for our 10 yr. anniversary.
Mohonk is not an option... WAY too expensive. One night there and I could go on a cruise! LOL. We got engaged there, so it was the first place we considered, till we saw the price!

I have not done this yet, but it is a trip we want to do. I would look into B&B's. Figure out what area you want to stay in to help narrow it down.

I've heard that Buttermilk Falls Inn is really nice.

Re: Hudson Valley in November.
I have been looking for the same thing for our 1 year anniversary. I would love to stay at Mohank as well but sooooooo expensive! I just looked up buttermilk falls and it looks perfect! Except there are minimum night requirements when I want to stay at the end of oct and beginning of nov on weekends. I'd love anyone else's suggestions as well!

Re: Hudson Valley in November.
We just booked one night at the Beekman Arms/Delamater Inn. It's in Rhinebeck. We made a reservation for dinner at the CIA.
We wanted to stay at The Rhinecliff but they're booked. Looks awesome though.

Buttermilk Falls Inn. It's absolutely beautiful. A little pricey (not as $$ as Mohonk, but still up there) but SO worth it. They have a wonderful farm to table restaurant, a spa, and such serene quaint rooms.

Re: Hudson Valley in November.
Ours too. We met at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, so we are heading back to where it all began.
