Dress help - church appropriate?

For my daughter's christening.

External Image

My "theme" for the party is pink and orange. This is perfect!

BUT - can I wear a sleeveless dress in church? Do you think this will still look OK with a white cardigan?

TIA!

Dress help - church appropriate?

Definitely appropriate and I would throw a cardigan over my shoulders for the church part. Beautiful dress.

Dress help - church appropriate?

I like it a lot, but since fall is here I would wear the cardigan. I just don't like bare shoulders, in church, unless it's super hot outside.

Re: Dress help - church appropriate?

I don't think you need a cardigan, but if you feel you need one or if its cool that day, you can either do white or brown and a camel colored shoe.

Re: Dress help - church appropriate?

Great, thanks everyone.

I'm probably going to nix it anyway. I may go with a sweater dress and boots.

Any recommendations for an a-line sweater dress?
