anyone else have success after falling progesterone?
I had my first OB appt last week, and all was good...progesterone at 25. Yesterday I saw the HB, and they took my blood again. They no longer look at HCG once a HB is established, but my progesterone fell to 19. The dr. now has me on progesterone supplements. Has anyone else had this experience with a success story?

but your's never dropped....it only went up. Even if it started low, it still climbed....mine actually dropped from 25 to 19. I know that I shouldn't be googling, but I have read some horrible things about what this means. My dr. didn't seem overly concerned, but I'm still very anxious. After 3 miscarriages, I'm jaded. Trying to stay positive though.

Re: anyone else have success after falling progesterone?
19 is still high enough to maintain a pregnancy. As long as you're on supplements now, it will continue to rise and you should be fine.
I don't know how far along you are, but by weeks 10-12 the placenta takes over and your progesterone levels won't even be a factor anymore.
My progesterone levels were always very high, but at 7w it fell slightly. I was never put on progesterone and I'm not 18w along.
Good luck!

Re: anyone else have success after falling progesterone?
i had success. my prog was way lower than yours. my first numbers were always under 14, once it even dropped to under 10 i think. i went on crinone immediately and stayed on it unitl about 20 weeks. i could have come off of it around 14 weeks but i was a nervous nelly so i stayed on it. i had a problem free pregnancy after that and i have a beautiful healthy dd who is 7 weeks old
the docs always told me that 15 and above is great. prog levels go up and down all day long, so if they may have just tested when your level was a bit lower that day.

my progesterone was up and down all throughout my early weeks. they put me on supps and i am now 18w along. The good news is your on the supps - which is a good thing. try not to worry about the progesterone levels, like pp said, anything above 15 is fine and after 10-12 weeks, the placenta takes over and takes care of the progesterone for you

Re: anyone else have success after falling progesterone?
I had low progesterone with my daughter. I think it went 9 or 10 and started off at 12. The doctor was not incredibly optomistic at the beginning, but told me only time would tell. She turns 20 months on the 24th!!!

Progesterone goes up and down all the time. I wouldnt say thats a drop to be concerned about at all. I wouldnt get concerned unless it goes below 10.
