Anybody else rent or own a doppler?
I rented one with my 1st child and had no issues finding the heartbeat around the same time i did now at 10 weeks. Now, it's driving me nuts! I can barely tell the difference between the blood vessel flow pulsing sound and the heartbeat so i cant tell which one i am hearing for the most part. I got it with the purpose of helping relax me until my next appt in my late 12th week on the 26th (after a few m/c) but now it's just making me anxious that im hearing everything but the heartbeat I am hoping in a week it will be more clear.

They do say with the dopplers they are meant to be used once you are between 12-14 weeks so maybe it's too early for you to be using it. I used one with my DD but I got it in the second trimester and never had a problem hearing the HB. I know you used it before but I make sure you're going realllllly low down to try and find it and listen for the galloping horse sound. Try and relax too, I am sure everything is ok.

Did you rent or buy this time? Is the quality the same? I rented the first time, and it was a high quality doppler-I had no trouble finding the HB at 10-11 weeks. This time, I bought an inexpensive model and had a much harder time finding it early on.

I had trouble figuring out which was the heartbeat as well so I looked on you tube and then I knew exactly what I was listening for and have been able to find it ever since.

I got rented mine at Stork Radio as i did the 1st time. Im doing it supa dupa low but all i hear is placenta windy noises and these whipping pulsing noises which are suppose to be blood vessel noises ( I watched ALOT of youtube tutorials lol) . I know the heartbeat is suppose to be a galloping noise but i hear nothing like that

I * think* i found it last night, i recorded it. It's really staticy but you can hear loud and steady what i think is around 15 seconds into the doppler recording- do you think this is it?
