Ugh... I hope that isn't what was bugging her and causing her to at like that.
I have a friend whose sister in law is on LIF and I have never even met the girl but for whatever reason she stalks my posts and reports back to my friend. She did the same thing when I was on LIW. It's beyond annoying when people who have no business sharing your business take it upon themselves to do so. I guess that is the problem with a public forum. I really hope that isn't what caused your sister's attitude...
ETA: If that is the case I am sure your sister will understand you wanted to tell her in a special way and wanted to make sure things were ok first... plus she's going to be an aunt so who could stay mad at that

OMG, I would be beyond pissed if someone on here recongnized me and outed my pregnancy to my own sister! That is so so crappy! I hope that isn't the case! I'm sure your sister will understand if that did happen though!

I would be mad too if someone did tell her. My Dad told EVERYONE! I was so mad because it wasn't his news to share and he told people before I wanted and I specifically told me not to say anything. I didn't talk to him for about 2 weeks because I was so angry.

It seems like you are in hiding...have you ever given out identifying information? I don't see how someone would figure it out, unless you leaked info. Maybe your sister was having a bad day...have you told anyone yet? Maybe your mom told her?

I am in hiding but I did answer one of my other posts on mistake bc my computer auto logs in to that name and I didn't realize at first. It is what it is. She knows now and someone did tell her.

Sheesh... if I found out someone close to me was pregnant before they were ready to tell me, I'd be GUSHING and excited and super duper uber sweet to them!!!! Sounds like there's a green monster involved here (and I'm not talking about the wall in Boston). Hope she gets over it or she's gonna be "Aunt B*tch" for life!!

Not for nothing, but how could she be mad about that? You *thought* you were posting anonymously on a message board. I told on here before I told MANY people close to me. I don't think it means the message board is more important to me. I would be mad at my sister if she was mad about that!

No my sister is amazing. She wasn't being nasty to me in that sense. She was acting weird I think bc she was trying not to let me know that she knew. She is very happy for us!
On the other hand I think it is messed up that someone would tell my sister the news before me because they saw it on here! Whatever it is what it is.

I get what you're saying, that would royally piss me off! I can't imagine why someone would think that (or anything else you say for that matter) is their news to share with YOUR sister.
