HI I grew up there and it is a nice town. My brother just bought a home there and never moved cause he likes the area. The town is incorporated so some areas have rules and there own police. The schools are good but it's tricky. You can live in Lymbrook and go to east rockaway school or Malverne based on location.

Hi, I grew up there and it is a beautiful town, amazing schools, and very family oriented. If you buy in Lynbrook, check borders so you do not become part of east rockaway or malverne schools. So many people stay in Lynbrook after graduating to raise families. I ended up in West Islip, but I wish I could have stayed in Lynbrook.
