Last night I woke up at 3am and was super nautious and also my stomach hurt as well.. (meaning I went to the bathroom a lot) sorry TMI... lol .. not sure if it were nerves or something I ate but when you get MS and your nautious is it just that pit in your throat feeling or is it all around stomach and nausia as well? I can't tell if I just have a tummy ache or not Thx

question about MS
It's everything. Right around 23 weeks I got violently violently ill two separate days right after lunch. I'd start sweating like crazy, have horrible horrible cramps, use the bathroom and vomit all at the same time. I'd see stars and think I was about to pass out. It was completely frightening and out of control!! I called the nurse line and explained it all and she said it really does just happen and there was nothing they could do about it. It went away as quickly as it came on, and I drank a ton of water to get re-hydrated.
It happened again to me last night at 34+4. I actually screamed for DH to come downstairs (he was upstairs bathing DD) because I thought I was going to pass out in the bathroom it was that bad and I wanted him to call the emergency line and know what happened since I was starting to see stars and starting to black out. He brought me water and I got through it and within an hour was fine again.
From what I've read, later on when the baby compresses your intestines in a certain way, it can cause this to happen. But early on it can totally be from the hormones. Hormones can cause headaches, physical pain, crushing sensations in the pelvis, nausea, vomiting, changes in bowel movements, etc etc etc.
Being pregnant is no picnic!
Hope you feel better!

Re: question about MS
pregnancy makes your body do some pretty crazy things!!!
my BMs have NOT been normal in the slightest since becoming pregnant, although I do not have "typical" MS (nausea, vomiting etc) I have had awful IBS symtoms since the beginning. It makes eating a chore since I knew what is coming

Re: question about MS
The same thing happened to me in the middle of the night. I woke up with horrible cramps and had to go to the bathroom and was throwing up at the same time. Good thing is it only happened twice. I think I was about 9 weeks at the time.

me too!!! And it's awful when it happens at work! I end up in the bathroom for the longest time
I never actually vomitted (except while brushing my teetch twice). Otherwise my MS consisted of extreme nausea (mostly at night). But I had tons of issue with my stomach. I would go from NOT going for days; to not being able to stop! (sorry if TMI)
