We are going in January. We were at Paradisus the Reserve 2 yrs ago & loved it. But food was ok. We've heard Palma Real is top notch over Reserve.

we stayed there back in 2007 and i actually had written a long trip advisor review on the property. not sure how much is valid since it was almost 5 years ago, but here's the link for what it's worth.

Isn't the reserve the private/exclusive part of Palma Real? Paradisus Punta Cana is the lowest level one. Is that where you stayed?

Yup the Reserve at Punta Cana is ae private/exclusive part but we were told by the travel agent Palma Real is better.

Yup the Reserve at Punta Cana is ae private/exclusive part but we were told by the travel agent Palma Real is better.
Got it. There is a Reserve at Palma Real too which is even more exclusive than the Palma Real and offers Royal service.
