I know I have siad it before, and it isn't a popular answer, but once I let it all go and just accepted that it wasn't in my hands. Once I came to terms with the big "What if it doesn't happen" my world changed. I didn't give up, just changed my expectations. I became close to being "me" again.
Wow!! I totally agree!! I also realized how blessed I was in my own life and that whatever was going to happen I would be ok, my husband and I would be fine. I sat back and realized everything I had instead of what I was missing. I was strong, happy and fine before I started the 7 year journey and though more then anything we wanted a baby I had to just let it all go and enjoy my life. I went back to work, I got really busy working constantly and took a ton of trips. I truly believe when the time is right it happens.
As for fearing the worst, we all know my story too and honestly the is nothing worse then seeing the first picture of your child hooked up to tons of tubes and wires. My DS had surgery at 2 weeks, and we have possibly 3 more to go before his original due date. I honestly thought we would have an easy pregnancy and delivery due to everything it took to get pregnant but I was wrong. All I can say is to just take each moment and enjoy life. Your baby will come to you. Just keep staying positive and keeping the faith.

Thanks, I think this is more something I'll understand once we (hopefully) have a baby. After various circumstances we've hit along the road, I think it's hard to just be told to stay positive. I was 1 in 100 million. Had I not been part of such a rare statistic, my (first) baby would be playing on my living room floor right now. Actually it's late. He'd hopefully be sleeping. Whatever, that's not the point.

It is tough to answer this, because eventhough we all struggle with IF, everyones journey is so unique. So what one piece of advise works for one, it might not work for the other. The only thing that I do know, is that whatever road someone is on and whatever the expetiences have been, it is important to go through it the best way for you. If you need to cry...cry. If you want to be angry...be angry. If you feel hopeful..then be hopeful.
Everyone has been in my prayers and I still and will always believe that one day you will all have your dreams come true.
