How many follicles did you have...
On Clomid. I had my CD 10 ultrasound today and she seemed surprised by the amount of follicles I had because I am on the lowest dosage of clomid (50 mg). I had 4.

How many follicles did you have...
with Clomid, my highest was two. With follistim my highest was 5. Four is a great number! Good luck!

Did you have 4 lead follies or just 4 follies?
I never had more than 1 mature follie on clomid.

I never had more than 1 mature follie on clomid.
She didn't say. She just said, "wow! i wasn't expecting that many on such a low dose of clomid. You have 4 follies, but she said one was small so she I expecting 3 eggs." Or something like that.
I have a 2 year old who had to come with me today, so it was hard for me to pay close attention.

You should have a bunch of follicles each month, whether or not you're on meds. Then one takes the lead and matures.
On Clomid, you're trying to get 1 really good one or a few good ones. So it sounds like you might have 3 mature - which is really good on such a low dose of Clomid. It's also possible all 3 might not mature. I'm not sure which CD you're on or what sizes your follies were. Are you triggering? Going back for more monitoring?

I had one good follie each month, but my last try, one of the smaller ones must have caught up because I am preggo with twins....

I was on CD 10 yesterday when she checked. I am not triggering, and no more monitoring until the IUI.
I guess I was just a little confused because she seemed so surprised by the amount, when i thought that was the purpose of clomid, to produce more eggs.

While I was under my care of my Obgyn I was on 200mg of Clomid. I produced 3 follicles. Good Luck!!!

50 mg of clomid I always had 5-6 mature follies which was a lot. Unfortunately, I never got pregnant on my IUI becasue we later found out we were dealing with MI...

How many follicles did you have...
My highest was 9. After that they cut my dosage to 50mg for 3 days and I ended up with 1-3 usually per cycle. Most cycles only 1.

i was on 50 mg's as well and i also had 4 mature follicles.
It was the first time i took it and the same month i got pregnant.
