Bed & Breakfast on Long Island
Are there any places that don't require a 2-night minimum on Fall weekends?
We live on Long Island...so no need to stay 2 nights...
TIA

i think if you wait till the end of the week to book for that weekend, they will let you do a one night stay. we did this with woolverton inn this past july. they have a 2 night min. esp in the summer. i saw they had openings the weekend i had wanted to go. they said to call back wednesday of that weekend and if the rooms were still avail, they would put us on a wait list. well, they called us back either thursday or that friday and we were able to book for one night. we did Mill house inn in the hamptons and we LOVED it!! they may not have a min but try them out and ask if they can do last minute booking for one night stay.

We stayed at the Bartlett house. I don't think we stayed more than one night. Loved it also
