spinoff to scheduling csection- AM I CRAZY?
I had my csection scheduled for Sept 6th which is 39 weeks. I would really like to have a VBAC so I cancelled the Csection. My drs said it was ok and that if we had to schedule it again if I dont go by my due date Sept.12th we would. Am I crazy should i just have gone in on the 6th? i really just wanted the chance to try since I never got to with DD.

I def. do not think you're crazy, why would you want to go through a major surgery if you can avoid it. Stick with whatever decision makes you feel the most comfortable :)

Plus it sounds like you might even go a little earlier...who knows! You can always try the V birth.

Do what your gut tells you! Go with a VBac if that's what you truly want. Your body/doctor will tell you if you can't.... Good for you!

Agreed.
Can I ask why your doc is limiting you to your due date? Unless there's a medical problem, due dates are basically guesses.

I don't think you're crazy I felt thi way the 2nd time around but I was so nervous I chickened out! Now this is the 3rd time so I don't know if I wanna risk it but I wish I tried it the 2nd time.

Not crazy at all! good for you! I also had a vbac with #2 and it was the best thing ever. My OB wouldn't schedule me for a repeat until I was 41 weeks, giving me that much time to try to go into labor on my own. I delivered her at 38.5 weeks.
