Is 9w3d late for a 1st appointment?
I'm very early right now (4w1d), and when I called my dr to make an appointment, they made it for October 3rd. By then, I'll be over 9 weeks! Anyone think that's a little late? How am I going to wait that long without driving myself nuts? Wuld you call back to make it a week or 2 earlier?

Is 9w3d late for a 1st appointment?
Most obs won't see you until you are at least 8 weeks so 9 weeks is fine.

Mine didn't see me until I was 8 weeks (8w2d exactly). They say you can't see much early on, so my OB waits until your 2nd missed pd. We got to see a nice strong HB at our appointment .

i've heard that that is normal, unless you go to an RE where you are monitored much more often

My OB makes their first appt's for between 8 and 10 weeks, so yes, that's normal. With that said, I did my best to get in there closer to 8w as opposed to 10w. It's a long enough wait as it is.
