Vent...sorry
Hi girls...I just need to vent a minute...
I'm due for AF to come on Friday, the 24th. It's my first month off BC so I'm just actually assuming it's coming on Friday. I just want to scream. I don't feel like AF is coming. Took a test this morning and it was BFN. I'm 13 DPO. DH had surgery on my O date but we did it A LOT before that date. Then again the O date was just a guess being that it's my first month off BC. Then we BD a week after his surgery and then i was away this weekend. I either missed O or didn't O.
When I wasn't on BC (like taking breaks on it) I was always regular. I'm just venting because I feel like I'm stuck at stalemate. I'm sure it's too late to BD and AF should show up any day. I'm just in rare form (assuming PMS) and miserable until this b*tch shows up so we can move on to month #2 and I have a better idea of what's going on. My eyes are dry, everyone at work is SOS (stuck on stupid), my head is killing me (I have a neurostimulator in for cluster headaches and it's less then 3 months old), and my back feels like it's broken.
Ok, vent over...you may go back to your regularly scheduled program and I REALLY hope all of us get our BFP's soon!!!!

Many people don't O, or don't O on "schedule" when they first go off of BCPs. Give your body some time to adjust and you'll get a better feel for what's going on.

I was going to say this. I came off BC three months before I wanted to start trying because it could take that long to get back to normal. I'm not saying it will for everyone and you should definitely be optimistic, but don't put so much pressure on yourself this early on........

It really depends on what BCP's you are on. I was on Loestrin which is a very low dose and went back to normal immediately and have been regular ever since. Some girls take around 3 cycles. Try and give your body some time to adjust. My OB says you are very fertile coming off BCP's so I am hoping you get your BFP soon! Good luck!

Thanks girls! I've been talking to my sister about all of this (she's an OB and I'm probably driving her crazy). She told me a long time ago it can take most woman 6 months to a year to become regular. I just hope it doesn't take that long. I've been ready for over a year to start TTC, DH took awhile to get here (his sister is due next month and I think that's what pushed him a little bit). Now he's all about it. We're just hoping it happens as quickly as everyone else we know.
Like I said, I hope we all get our BFP's soon and we can celebrate!! As soon as AF comes I'll feel a lot better I think...
