which would you chose: downtown disney or mk one last night?

so , we are doing all the parks.
We are doing MK 2 Full days, HWS 2 half days (6pm till close, and 4pm till close), epcot 1 Full day and Animal Kingdom 1 full day.

Since AK closes at 5, we fiigured we go back to the hotel , break and then go somewhere for our last night.

we dont have downtown disney anywhere else in our itinerary.
MK closes at 12 am that night, should throw the kids in the stroller after dinner and stroll MK? or do we check another park?

was trying to get reservations for ohana our last night, but they are booked. will keep checking for cancellations though..

Play it by ear. I like to see a fireworks show on my last night. DTD would be anticlimactic for me, but you can see how you and your family feel at that point.

Since you're only doing DHS in the evening, know that you are going to have to wait a LONG time to ride Toy Story Mania since you won't have the benefit or rope drop nor fastpass.

Will you be going there on an EMH night? if you make that your last ride of the night you should be able to ride it in under an hour wait.,

i would have to check to see if HSW is a EMH. I think it is not as i purposely scheduled to visit parks on the days that were not EMH. do you think we should MK our last night? it is open till midnight. how are the crowds at night? do you think we will do any rides at night? or do you mostly stroll the park?

I don't think that MK will be super crowded. September is not a particularly crowded time. I think you can definitely get some rides in and many are just different/better at night.

If it were me, I'd plan to go to MK, but know that DTD is a backup in case we're too tired to run around a park.

I like a lot of the shops and restaurants at DTD but for me that's something I do on a day when I've hit he wall and had to sleep late, or I have time to kill before a ticketed party. Like I said, i think it's anticlimactic for the last night. I like to do something really special on the last night.

thanks!! well we ended up getting a reservation for Ohana our last night!!! its for 8:30pm. i am going to keep checking back for earlier times ( like 7/7:30) but i am so happy!! hoping we can see the fireworks from poly and if we are up to it, maybe we will go to MK. CANT WAIT!!!!
