thank you all! feel much more comfortable if this baby needs to be delivered by 36 weeks Chat Icon

my son measured 5.4 at 34 weeks so I know this baby will probably not be tiny either (DS was born at 8.7) and it seems girls do a bit better when born premature - 2 strikes in her favor.

Our NICU nurses told us girls are stronger too!

Both my boys were born at 37 weeks. One was 9 lbs 7 oz and the other was 7 lbs 12 oz. They did not require NICU stays and were very healthy.

My niece was born at 34 weeks at 5 lbs 5 oz and didn't require a NICU stay either!

My sister gave birth to twins 1 day shy of her 35th week. Both babies were just under 5 pounds, didn't need NICU time and were home in 4 days with their Mommy.

Now they are 9 years old and a handful! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Good luck to you!!!!

my oldest was born at 36weeks. he was 6lbs 8oz. he needed the NICU b/c of medication i was on during labor, no other reason and he did well after that.

my twins were born at 35weeks and they were 4lbs 11oz and 5lbs 12oz.

all 3 were in the winthrop NICU and got great care.
