Spinoff to prenatals with DHA...............
Is DHA a common add on to prenatals these days?? I don't think any of my prenatals, including the one my OB just prescribed me, have had it in it and am wondering what are the benefits that many of you have found out? Is there new research for adding it? I know of DHA and its brain functioning properties, as I have given formula supplemented with it to DS but never had it in prenatals before.

It is for brain development. My OB has been adding it on to my prenatal since my DS was born almost 7 years ago.

Holy crap- I never knew we could take DHA in addition to prenatals. I was always scared of taking anything extra. How much were you told to take with the prenatal?
