Thank you gift for childcare provider
We've usually done a generous gift card (Target, Amazon, Spafinder) and a nice personal card, often letting the boys help make it (stickers, finger paint, etc.). Occasionally we throw in some chocolate!

My parents are my childcare provider. They refuse to take any money from us. So I buy them gift cards throughout the year to various restaurants, diners, stores, etc.
They love the restaurant ones since my mom is usually too wiped out at the end of the day to cook dinner.

When DD moved classes I got each of the teachers (there were 5 of them!) monogrammed cosmetic cases. I also gave the head teacher a bracelet.

I always just give a visa gift card. It allows them to use it on whatever they like.
