Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Worth it? Can you enter the park after 4pm, similar to MNSSHP?
We're going from the Disney Cruise to Disney World. When we arrive that day, I'm thinking of just doing the xmas party that night if we can get in after 4.
Thanks!!

It's not officially stated anywhere, but in practice, you can get in at 4pm. Whether this will change this year, I don't know, but in the past, guests have been able to get in at 4pm with just a aprty ticket (no park ticket).

Re: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Also, I do think it's worth it (We have gone twice), but the consensus seems to be that it's not as good as the Halloween Party, which I would agree with.
However, if that's your one post cruise day, you'd be paying more than the price of MVMCP for 1 day admission, so it's definitely worth it in that case.

Re: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Thanks! We have the following day there too. So I was thinking of just doing the party on Thursday (with DVC discount) and go to the park at 4. Then the next day, get a park hopper ticket for the day.
I'm just so used to having a full week of planning, I'm stuck on this since it's only 2 days.

When does your flight leave on Day 2? A 1 day ticket is SOOO expensive, i'd think about just doing a character meal outside the parks and DTD.

Re: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
The flight home is day 3. We get to WDW Saturday afternoon, then cruise sun-thurs, get back to WDW Thursday morning/early afternoon, then leave Saturday. We're planning on doing DTD Saturday when we arrive (no park that day). I figured do the Xmas party Thursday and park hopper Friday. I know it's not ideal, but it's cheaper than a 2 day ticket. Any suggestions?

I think it's worth it. It was magical. We loved it as adults, and My 3yo did too. I would do it again in a heartbeat
