Migraines
This is my 2nd migraine in the past month I woke up Saturday morning with it, and I still have it.
Last night I took Tylenol before bed and it took the edge off, but it came right back full force once it wore off.
I have an OB appt tomm morning anyway so I will bring it up then. But is it normal to get migraines during pregnancy like this? The only other time I had migraines were during my periods, so I'm guessing it has to do with hormones but idk

Re: Migraines
I had gotten migraines pretty often in the begining of my pregnancy and always before I got pregnant. Once I got to my second trimester I didnt get any. Hang in there

Thank you, I'm actually in my 2nd trimester, 17 weeks. I guess there's a possibility they will stay the entire pregnancy. Oh boy...

Re: Migraines
yes, especially in the 2nd tri i am battling one right now, started after I woke up from a nap yesteray (actually, I was getting neck pains around 12pm so I knew it was coming on)...
its all hormone related. tylenol is safe, my OB even said 2 extra strength is OK if needed.
ETA - I am also about 16.5 weeks so we must be in a very similar boat

Definitely talk to your doctor about it. There is a med that is safe to take that helps with migraines. I want to say it begins with an F. DH's cousin had them during her second pregnancy and her doc gave her a prescription which helped her tremedously.
