Need haircut help - I want a really short cut

I have in-between hair, it's not straight, not not curly. It's like semi-wavy.It has waves but the waves "fall" the day after I wash and scrunch my hair. If I want to wear it out I have to either straighten it or wash every day so I have waves.

I want to cut my hair. SHORT. It's to the bottom of the back of my neck now but I want a shorter, closer cut. I also want little maintenance since I have a toddler.

I'm afraid though but willing to take a chance. I just have no idea what type of cut.

Any suggestions as to what cut? Anyone with semi-wavy hair have a short haircut pic they wouldn't mind sharing?

i think a sculpting cream would be a good product for you if you want to go this short. i LOVE this cut.
