lower blood pressure during 1st trimester
Anyone ever experience lower than normal blood pressure during the first trimester? Mine has always been 110/80. On Thursday it was 100/70. Today I'm feeling alittle lightheaded so I'm wondering if it's gone down even more. Is this drop in blood pressure normal?

low blood pressure during 1st trimester
That doesn't seem that low to me. I've had 93/65 and sometimes it's so low that they can't use the machine to take it and have to do it by hand. No one in my OB's office seemed to ever worry so I didn't either.
Make sure you keep up your fluids tons and maybe have a little salty food today and see if it helps.

my doctor said blood pressure does drop while pregnant. i was getting light headed a few weeks ago and she told me to slow down (dont get up quickly, dont walk around at a fast pace etc) and also said eating more throughout the day will also help with that feeling (isntead of just eating 3 meals so i now snack...breakfast, then a yogurt, lunch then fruit, dinner then more fruit etc) seems to have helped me

Re: lower blood pressure during 1st trimester
Totally normal to have lower blood pressure (that may cause dizziness or lightheadedness) esp in early pregnancy. Your heart is working harder to pump extra blood and the amount of blood in your body increases by about 50%.
Your blood pressure usually is lower in early pregnancy and gradually returns to normal by the end of your pregnancy. High blood pressure throughout pregnancy is usually a sign that something else is wrong b/c your body is working too hard.
