Anybody hear of adopting a preschooler?
I'm thinking of trying to adopt, but am looking at trying to find a preschooler, maybe around 4 years old.
Has anybody heard of somebody doing this? Or does everybody prefer infants? I really want a child that my DD (6) can be close with.

My cousin adopted her son when he was in 3rd or 4th grade ... Started the process when he was in 2 nd so anything is possible

Was it domestic or international? A friend of mine adopted internationally. I would like to also adopt a pre-schooler.

Anybody hear of adopting a preschooler?
Domestic .... Long story short he was adopted as an infant and by the time he was in 2nd grade both his adopted parents had died ... Crazy stuff but now he is fine and healthy in a loving home
