anyone elses child do this?

my 3 year old calls me by my first name ALL the time. it is driving me nuts. i ignore him or tell him that my name is mommy to him. anyone elses child do this?!?

DD is 16 months and calls me by my first name!

DS calls DH by his first name. He sounds like me when he says it (like he is mimicing me). It is so funny!!!

However, I probably would not think it was funny if he called me by my first name...

its embarassing when we are out and he is yelling "kristin" or "kris" from across the store or wherever we are.

DS will only call me by my first name if he hears it on my bluetooth in the car.

But I did teach him both of our first names on purpose. If he ever gets lost and someone asks him what his mommy's or daddy's name is, I want him to be able to tell them, and not just "Mommy or Daddy".

Side note, he also calls me "hunny" and dh "babe" every so often because that is what we call each other. In the middle of a store he'll be looking for DH and start calling out "Babe!!!"

We have it here too... DS will stand at the bottom of the stairs and holler for me or my hubby by our first names... He hears it from my Mom all day long!!!
