food and/or gifts for the nurses
If you are BTDT, did you bring food or gifts for the staff at the hospital. If so, when did you bring it? Did you give it to the labor and delivery staff or the staff that was around when you were in your room? or did you do both?
If you are a FTM, if you are planning on bringing anything, who do you plan to bring it to?

I don't think I will worry about this with everything else going on...I will just say thank you as much as possible for all of their help, which I think goes a long way!

I had DS at 37 weeks, and was kind of unexpected the last thing on my mind was getting the staff food. But my MIL brought a tray of cookies from a bakery near the hospital. Some of the nurses kept saying thank you to me, and I had no idea what they were talking about until my MIL told me she brought them cookies.

One of DH's friends said to bring coffee and doughnuts to the nurses so they won't bother us. I will leave that up to him.

YES!!! Have your DH bring in donuts or munchkins or something the next day for the nurses! They really appreciated it when I was there with DS and I got lots and lots of freebies when I left
