I had my rehearsal dinner La Famiglia in Plainview and the food was good, they have a private room in the back and the staff was very friendly. If you're looking for a smaller venue I love Le Chat Noir in RVC but it is very small.

I had brunch at Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park. It was great, no complaints.
