3d/4d and gender scans
I was just going to go to my OB for the gender scan but now DH and I think we want to go earlier for one and possibly go back for a 3d/4d peak and the LO. Can you recommend the places you've been to and loved? Preferably NYC but Nassau County is ok, too.
How far along were you when you went? I'm thinking I'd go around 17w.
And did your place have a guarantee that if the baby wasn't cooperating they'd let you come back at no charge? After my NT scan yesterday when the baby was facing away from us, I want to be sure I can go back again if we can't get a good view.
TIA!

We went to Baby Imprints in Valley Stream. They were able to tell at 16 weeks.

I was just going to post this and you beat me to it!!! lol.
Does anyone know if places take you once you turn 16 weeks....or does it have to be a full 16 weeks meaning you just turned 17 weeks?

I know of a bunch of places in the city. Tiny Portraits seems to be the most reasonably priced.
Has anyone used them/have any feedback on them?

3d/4d and gender scans
I went to Baby Imprints when I was 16w 2d. We were able to find out the gender but she wasn't cooperating so we couldn't get a lot of pics. So they said for us to come back 2 weeks later (free of charge) to try and get more pics.

I know this thread is old, but I wanted to update it in case anyone searches on it.
I booked online with Tiny Portraits and paid online. They said the appt was pending, not confirmed. After at least a week I contacted them as to why they hadn't confirmed. Turns out they are "short staffed" and they expected me to go to their Harlem office (instead of Midtown where I booked it). Um, no thanks. Their midtown offices are apparently only open for a few hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays now.
So I rebooked, no problem, at GoldenView now. They were really easy to work with and have great reviews.

The exact same thing happened to me. I booked it online, they called me that night to say that their Midtown tech was on vacation and did I want to go to Harlem. I ended up going to Baby Imprints in VS instead and it was so worth the drive.

Re: 3d/4d and gender scans
I didn't have any problems so far. Made the appointment about 2 weeks ago online. Got a confirmation the same day and just received another email to confirm my appointment. I go tomorrow, hopefully I won't have any issues.

That's b/c tomorrow is Wednesday. Midtown is only open Tues and Wed now.
Well, she said those are the hours this week. She couldn't guarantee what the hours would be in 2 weeks, when I had scheduled my appt.

RUN FAR AND FAST from Tiny Portraits. They are now refusing to issue me a refund, even though they never provided me a service. RUN.
