Solid food ideas for milk/soy allergy 13M old. Anything at Wild By Nature, etc?
Does anyone have any other ideas for breakfast/lunch foods for mlik and soy allergy toddler? OR do you know if any of the specialty stores sell milk-free finger foods like waffles?
We can't do pancakes, waffles, french toast, breads, cheese, yogurt, chick fingers because of the milk.
He does fine with eggs, veggies, oyster crackers, certain puffs, potatoes but we are looking for more 'easy' options.
TIA!
ETA: he's not really into fruit right now, but we've tried that too.

My DS is also 13 months and has a milk allergy. VANS makes a waffle that is dairy free. I buy it in the organic section of stop and shop. He loves it. CherryBrook Kitchen makes a dairy free pancake mix. Its really not half bad. It tells you to use rice milk. I usually also add a banana to it. He really enjoys it. I also just make simple blue berry muffins, but replace the milk with rice milk. The consistency comes out the same.
Dr. Pragers makes spinach potato pancakes and sweet potato pancakes....both are dairy free.
Hope this helps a little

We were completely dairy and soy free for the first year or so. We're still dairy-free, but we did find out DS is not allergic to soy.
I shop at TJ's and Whole Foods for the most part. For pancake mix we use Highland Sugarworks. I replace the egg with applesauce (DS is allergic) and the dairy with coconut milk. We don't really eat waffles, but I know WF sells at least one brand that is dairy & I believe soy free. For bread we use Rudi's Organic bread, I like the Honey Sweet & Colorado Cracked Wheat.
We generally do not buy a lot of processed foods, but there are a lot of options that are soy & dairy free at Whole Foods.
Can your LO tolerate soybean oil or soy lecithin? Most children with soy allergies can tolerate both ingredients, and that will open up a lot of options.

More options:
Coconut milk yogurt (I add chia seeds to give it protein) Hummus & cucumber sandwiches, or just hummus & cucumber Applegate Farms sells dairy & soy-free products like chicken fingers Steel cut oats with coconut milk & cut up banana

Plum Organics sells a milk free puff and also a fruit/veggie melt that is dairy free (they're like the yogurt melts) Van's makes a waffle that is dairy free as well as a french toast that is in 3 sections that DD2 ADORES. Bell & Evans Chicken nuggets are dairy free. Jennie O turkey franks are milk free. Rice Dreams makes an ice cream that DD2 likes too.
It's tough but you'll get through it. DD2 was just recently cleared for wheat and baked milk after a food challenge and negative skin prick and she is almost 2 now, so we're down to milk, nuts, fish/shellfish which is a major improvement (and much easier to shop for!) Whole Foods and the natural food section in Sto & Shop were where I had the most success.

Can you use almond milk, rice milk or hemp milk in place of dairy/ soy?
