different item purchased off registry than what i registered for?
So ive been registry stalking and i see listed on my BBB registry that a britax pavilion convertible car seat has been purchased. Next to it, though says items requested: 0, items purchased: 1
i registered for either the britax marathon or boulevard... i forget which now, darn baby brain... but it def wasnt the pavilion.
Im so confused. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes . I think the reason for me was they bought something else off my registry that was removed and then another that they wanted. I wanted the boulevard also but when they went to the store it wasn't in stock and you couldn't buy it online either. She didn't get it but could have gotten another one. Apparently the one I liked was popular.

Sometimes that happens when the person purchases 2 things - something off your registry and something not on your registry. The latter may not even be for you.

100% sure. So odd
i will have to look to see if i have the original copy of my registry from the store and if i do i might call and ask. Otherwise ill wait and see what i get and exchange if need be.

This happened to me too, but with smaller items. I've been registry stalking and I've noticed a few items, mostly toys and bibs and stuff, that I didn't register for. I also noticed that the wrong car seat attachment for the stroller base has been purchased and scanned to my registry too. I just plan on doing some returns after my shower.

They might have grabbed the wrong one thinking it was the correct one. You will still be able to exchange it no problem.

Also if the person purchased a gift for you and stuff for their kids, their entire transaction will show up on your registry. My SILs registry wound up having so many extra items on hers. So now if i am buying a registry gift for someone and something for DS, i pay with two different transactions to save them the confusion.

Exactly this. Don't assume the extra stuff is for you. It could just be that the person boughjt stuff at the same time.

there isn't anything extra. the convertible car seat that i registered for is just not listed anymore - at all - purchased or otherwise... and the other car seat, that i didn't register for, is showing up purchased but not requested.
