What age did you start introducing milk?
I want to have dd completely transitioned over to milk by 1. What age did everybody start to introduce it?

What age did you start introducing milk?
11 mos. did a very slow transition, since she was on Nutramigen. She was on milk totally 6 weeks later. It still constipated her, despite the gradual transition.

11 months, did a somewhat slow transition. he was on milk by his bday.

We didn't start til after his 1 year checkup, about a week after his bday. But we transitioned in 3 days and had no problems. Slight constipation, that was it.

11 months.
My DS was on Nutramigen as well, but we knew that his milk alergy was gone since we gave him yogurt, ice cream, etc.. and he had no reaction.
We did a pretty quick change over a 3 days period.

I started giving it to them around 11 months and they were fully swtched over by their birthday.

14 months but only because we wanted to keep DS on formula for nutritional value since he wasnt eating table food well.

15 months. But he was on Elecare due to a milk protein and soy allergy.. Most pediatricians want you to wait until 11-12 months to switch over..

i started when he was a little over 11 months. i did the few ounces milk to few ounces formula thing for a few days. he adjusted no problem, no constipation. i think the worst waas him getting used to it being cold over room temp. he was on milk by his 1st bday

Around 11 months I started mixing his formula bottles with 25% whole milk. I did this gradually until 13 months when he was completely off of formula. I started cutting out nursing sessions around his first birthday, and he gave them up completely and was on milk 100% of the time at 14 months.

What age did you start introducing milk?
We tried after her 1 year apt and she hated it for a long time. We just kept offering it to her with meals and finally she warmed up to it. I'd say around 14 mo she started really drinking it. I had to really work to get enough calcium in her for a while.

1yr old. That's the ped recommended and so why not. I still had a can formula so we migrated over slowly but still only took like a week.

When my DD turned 1 we finished off the last can of formula and went over to all milk, cold turkey.

i introduced it at 1. did half milk and half formula bottles for a week but she didnt seem to notice so i went straight to all milk when i ran out of formula. she didnt seem to care at all, i actually think she likes the real milk wayyy better.

11 months - I started with 1 oz added to the bottle. by 12 months - full milk.
DS#1&2 were BM; DD is on formula and I hope it will go as smoothly (she just turned 1 year!)
