I am curious if anyone has gotten tooth sealants on thier little ones. My dd's dentist has recomended them for my daughter b/c she said that she has a lot of ridges in her molars.

Re: tooth sealants
The kids dentist did sealants on my kids "big" teeth (molars) when they came in. They head back to the dentist again in August so we'll see what they say again (new dentist this time).

DS is only 2, but he will get sealants once he is 5-6 ( first molars) or whenever he will need them. They protect teeth from bacteria and food getting stack in those ridges.

DD has them. She grinds her teeth at night so they've had to be replaced a few times. she had a cavity in her one year molar before it fell out, and her other molars came in very bumpy (the dentist said like an english muffin) which increased her chances of getting a cavity (or so i was told, but it makes sence) she Ds is old enough, he will get them too. DD is 13.5 yeats old amd so far *knock on wood* hasnt had a cavity in them, amd she isnt the best brusher !!
