Spotting.. Calm my nerves

I am 4 weeks 3 days and this morning when I wiped there was very bright pink blood. (sorry tmi) I wiped again and same thing. Is this ok? When should I get more concerned?

Of course I am freaking out! I am also taking progesterone suppositories at night. (Endometrin)

Edit: Also we did not Chat Icon because i read online most people said that was the cause.

Re: Spotting.. Calm my nerves

It's SO scary to see any amount of blood when you're pregnant!! At this point though, it can honestly go either way. There's really no way to tell when you're this early without bloodwork. You should call your doctor and have them do a beta, and a followup one two days later. It's possible that it could be irritation from the suppositories you're using. Hopefully that's all it is!

Re: Spotting.. Calm my nerves

I had spotting on and off from around 6-7 weeks. The baby's heartbeat was fine and the dr couldn't find where the bleeding was coming from. It eventually stopped on it's own.

You're a bit earlier, though, and they won't be able to see anything on an u/s for another 1-2 weeks. I'd call the dr, though, just to let them know. Hopefully it resolves itself quickly. Good luck!

Thank you for the responses. Chat Icon

I haven't noticed anymore bleeding but there is a darker color (sorry tmi) discharge. I will let my doctor know tomorrow when I go in for my second blood test.
