Confused
DH and I decided to throw caution to the wind this month. We  around my ovulation days but according to my app never on the day. I know sperm can live from 3-5 days inside of me.
Anyway, Tuesday (7/17) I took a pg test at the dr. 's office where I work. It came up negative, which I thought it would but I needed a script that I wouldn't be able to take if I was pg.
Aunt Flo was due yesterday (7/19) and since coming off BC (dec '11) my cycles have been very regular. Well, today and yesterday I've only had brown discharge when I wipe, no other time. I also have light cramping but nothing near the cramps I've been experiencing since coming off BC.
My question is, is it possible to be pg? I have no other symptoms.
Could I have had a false negative? I didn't use FMU.
Should I test again?

If you can hold off for another day or so and then retest if af doesnt show.

you can test again since AF is late. but since you have brown spotting it prob is the beginning of AF. btw you absolutely cannot trust what an app says is your ovulation date unless you are temping. you can hope that you O around the time that calendars tell you that you should, but without temping and OPK you can't be sure.

I never realized that I O'ed earlier in my cycle until I started using an OPK. I am starting to temp very soon also.
