lipa energy audit?

did anyone do one of these? can you recommend a company to call that is listed on the site? also, i think it is free from what i was told by someone, is it? thanks!!

My mom had it done. They go around and make a list of things that aren't as efficient as they could be.

With that list, my mom could decide what she wanted done by them, if anything. She could have just taken the list herself and gone to HD to buy the supplies. I went over the list, and told her which things would be the most helpful, and which things she didn't need to do.

According to her, it was definitely worthwhile.

We just did this last year with Murtha construction. It cost $50 for the audit and we used them to do the repairs they recommended. Lipa and keyspan gave us 50% discount on some of the repairs but we still spent about $3500 doing it. We have a 3200 sq. ft house that needed a lot. This winter I didn't notice a difference since it was so warm but I am definitely noticing a difference with the air conditioning.
