I never dealt with such stupid people in MY LIFE!! ughhh sorry had to vent!
our mortgage people are seriously stupid!
we bring down the rest of our paperwork for the conditions. We get there our guy says....oh do u want to drop the papers with me? I look at my fh like ahh no. Hes like I made a whoopsy!WTF? who says that??
lol anyway turns out we had to come back 45 mins later after we already had a 6:00 appt to begin with! oh and there were other people in his office at OUR TIME

Sorry - that is really frustrating! Just try to stay on top of things as much as you can and don't assume things are being done. It's the old squeaky wheel thing...
I know this is not helpful to the original poster, but as a PSA to others: For this reason, I don't recommend the large commercial banks to my buyer customers. I've just heard and experienced too many horror stories. I think the best lenders, in terms of speed, efficiency, and customer service, tend to be the specialty mortgage banks (e.g., U.S. Mortgage Corp., Continental, Cliffco, Academy Mortgage, etc.).

Don't expect things to get any better once they have the loan. They mess up our property taxes every year, screw up the escrow account etc. They should give me a discount for having to do all this shit myself...
