talk to me about 3D sonos
If you are choosing to get a 3D sono, how many weeks should you be when you go? Where did you go? What were the prices? and were there different packages to choose from?
The MFM group i go to does offer 3D sonos but they will only do it at my 32 week growth sono appt. They do not make appts just for 3D and i believe they only give you pics, no video.

I am going to Baby Imprints for a 3D gender determination sono on Saturday. They offer a bunch of different packages at all different prices. Everything is on their website, including how many weeks you need to be for each one.

Baby Imprints is great!! This is where I went for my gender determination at 16w.
I am also doing a 3D sono later on...I'm thinking around 28 weeks or so.

You want to go after 28 weeks. I did it at Impact Medical Technologies in Hicksville. I was 32 weeks. We did the sneak peak package, but they offer a ton more.

My office does them but not til 24 weeks because it's hard to really see anything before then.

talk to me about 3D sonos
With my first pregnancy, they flipped the machine to 3D at the perinatologist at 21 weeks. We actually got some amazing pics of her from that! We were seeing a specialist because they'd seen a spot on her heart.
This pregnancy, I don't get any sonos after 20 weeks. We just booked a 3D at a local place (I'm OOS, though, so not on LI) for 27 w 6 d on Friday as an anniversary present to ourselves. The guy on the phone said any time between 26 and 34 weeks, but they recommend between 28 and 32 w. I'm hoping this is close enough to 28 weeks that we'll get a nice picture.
They're running a summer special for $90 for 15 minutes, cd, dvd, and pictures. I know it's short, but I've never had a sono longer than 15 minutes anyway so I think it'll be ok. We just want to see our little boy again one more time before he's born and are excited about it.
