More Birthday Trip Questions
I did some additional research, and it seems that while Hawaii is the most visited in December, it is also one of the least desirable months to actually go there because it is rainy season. 
Now, I'm not sure if taking DH for his actually b-day in December is the way to go. I could book the trip for April (one of the better months to go to Hawaii), or book the cruise to Alaska for a June 2013 sailing date, or pick someplace else entirely (like Atlantis in the Bahamas -yet another place he has mentioned wanting to go to) as a birthday trip.
I really wanted this trip to be a surprise, but I feel like I'm getting nowhere fast, and his birthday is less than 5 months away.
Thoughts?

Hmm//I don't remember, did you say you're bringing any kids on this trip?
A trip to the Bahamas or the caribbean would be easier to plan and the flights and travel time would be much less.

Hawaii = no kids, Alaska = kids. Other venues  .
