UPDATE ! Spotting & freaking out
Update- thank god everything is okay! Beta is over 18,000 & we got to see the baby & the heartbeat!
One baby measuring exactly 6 weeks!
Thank u ladies for calming me down & for your prayers.
I just got home and went to the bathroom & there was brown blood on my underwear. It wasn't a lot..but it was there when I wiped too!
I'm 5.5 weeks and going for my first sono on Tuesday.
I called my RE emergency line & they're having me come in for blood tomorrow & possibility a sono later on in the day tomorrow. The nurse said sometimes PIO causes this.
Please pray everything is ok! I'm really freaking out!

I am praying so hard for you! Did you call the Re? I've read of people on here with the same situation and everything was ok! Keep off your feet!'praying for you!

Spotting & freaking out
its def not uncommon to have bleeding during the early weeks of IVF pregnancies. try not to freak out. i had consistent brown spotting from weeks 7-9. as long as its not red and theres no cramping you def don't need to freak out at this point. good luck!

Praying all is well with you and your little one. It is so hard mot to freak out but brownish spotting is so common. I am glad your doc is being proactive.

A couple of us on here recently had spotting early in our pregnancies. I had spotting on and off from 6w6d to 7w6d. Baby turned out to be perfectly fine and they couldn't find where the spotting was coming from. I'll be 9w tomorrow and no spotting in over a week.
Just try to relax and stay off your feet the next day or so. No heavy lifting. As long as it's light and you're not cramping or passing clots, the baby is probably perfectly fine. I know it's hard not to worry, but I was there just over a week ago, and I really think you and your baby will be great.
ETA: I even had red spotting twice...and everything was fine! But brown is old/drying up and even less to worry about.

both re and peri said its very common

Great update! I hope you're RE still has you come in for weekly sonos just to monitor the spotting and check for SCH.

I bleed with DS from week 7-8 like a full blown period...thought I was MCing...everything was fine, baby was fine...
Brown is old blood, could be from implantation or a TVS...as long as your being monitored your AOK...

UPDATE ! Spotting & freaking out
i'm so happy your doing well!
on the 4th of July, i started bleeding, like a full blown period and i was freaking out thinking i was losing the baby. i went to the ER and they told me i had a 50/50 chance of losing the baby. i went to my RE the next day and he assured me the baby was doing fine and it was noting to worry about. I had been spotting before i was bleeding heavily last week and I'm still spotting now.

So happy to see where you are!!!! I had bleeding during the first 8 weeks. Most likely from the crinone...are u on that? It happened about once a week. Also make sure to take it easy and put your feet up when you can....good luck
