Keeping raccoons of our deck and roof?

Any tips? DH is so tired of cleaning their poop off of our roof and deck. Our backyard backs up to a pond and wooded area and they have taken up residence in a few of the trees just outside our fence. They hang on our deck every night and lounge in a valley in our roof.

We used to have grape vines that they loved and have since gotten rid of that. We also have motion detector sprinkles but they're still around.

Not trying to scare you but be very careful with their feces. It can be extremely harmful to humans...please read up on Raccoon roundworm. And be careful your dog does not eat it or roll in it.

Not sure what you can do to keep them away.
