I have seen some awful permanent makeup! It's like a tattoo so the sleek black lines will start to look puffy and gray. Also, once the lipstick wears off, you're left with the puffy lined lips. This was years ago so maybe the technique has improved.

Does anyone have permanent makeup?
I always wondered about permanent makeup. Is it REALLY that hard to put on lipstick or eyeliner?

I have a friend who had permanent make up for her eyebrows. She has trichotelimania and pulled them out to the point where they would never grow back. That being said I would only recommend doing that in extreme circumstances.
