OPK Question
Hi everyone -- I'm knew to this site and to these boards. I've lurked a bit though.
I have a question on the OPK. I've used them before and got pregnant - only to have a miscarriage at 6 weeks.
This time, its been a bit odd. I had a smiley face on Friday in the afternoon -- but not in the evening. I didn't test again on Sat but then on Sunday I tested and no smiley face (my acupuncturist recommended I test again - I thought you're supposed to stop after the first smiley face - oops). Yet on Monday I had a smiley face in both the afternoon and evening and again this afternoon (Tues).
Has this ever happened to anyone?

could be your body preparing to O (LH surging) but then you didn't and again preparing to O yesterday or today. I would BD today and tomorrow ... keep testing until that smiley is gone.

You shoudl stop after you get your first smiley face.
Also, I think the smiley face is best with FMU so you should only be using it in the AM.

The only opk that you can use fmu is the clear blue easy with the 
Otherwise you should be testing in the afternoon.

Wow.. I never thought about that. Is it possible that I started to surge but stopped and the I did a few days later?
Either way we BD a good amount so hopefully something works!!

Good to know. I'm using the CBE sticks with the smiley face and have been testing in the afternoon. I'll switch it to the AM next month (hopefully I won't need it thought!! :O )

You can test with FMU but the surge normally happens later in the day. The smiley test work any time as long as you hold for 3 hrs. I tested 2x a day and never had a smiley in the morning. Always after lunch.

My doctor told me to test between 10-2
I got a false on an OPK, but now that I have pretty good track of my cycle I know which day to start tracking.
