exercise routine while ttc
Has any completely stopped or modified their workout routine while ttc? not always an intense boot camp style but basically free weights, cardiovascular step class, at home dvd's or even the workouts on demand (on hot cable provider) seem pretty harmless. Will it have any negative impact on ttc or delaying ov?

I have not changes anything.
With my last 2 pregnancies I worked out until the week/day I delivered. Never stopped while TTC.

Unless you're on fertility meds or told by your dr, there's no reason to stop working out. If you're more comfortable, you can take the intensity down a notch during your 2ww, but no reason to stop.

Ok. That's a relief. Now after thinking, the only thing I may modify is the pace of my workout so I don't fall during step. It's too early for me to test but ill be continuing my normal routine. I actually see pregnant women in the gym quite often but I was talking about the time of conception.

Unless your doctor says it is unsafe, you can continue with your normal routine. I only stop exercising when I start stimming for IVF with the exception of walking.

If you've been regularly exercising there is no reason to change it since your body is already used to it.

exercise routine while ttc
My doctor told me to cut down own my exercise (but at the time I was working out 8-9 times a week). She said with exercise that intense, my body wouldn't be able to get pregnant. So I cut it down pretty drastically (she also wanted me to gain weight). Funny thing is: The week I got my BFP I was so stressed I worked out hardcore every day!

Wow. I wonder what the reason for not getting pregnant w that kind of workout schedule would be. Maybe it was a matter of giving your body the rest it needs. But if you sill got pregnant, then wonderful. The most I ever workout is 3x a week but ill just won't do any exercises where I may be prone to falling, like step class.

Re: exercise routine while ttc
This month, I really slacked during my 2WW and I put on a few pounds. I will definitely not be doing that this cycle. I am used to working out everyday so I will continue to do so.

It is because low body weight can mess with your cycles and also body builder types will mess with their cycle because of the muscle ratio and weight. A normal workout schedule is not an issue. I did a hardcore workout before getting pregnant but it was only a few days a week and I maintained a healthy weight and bmi
